I’m Deborah and I’m currently doing an ESC project in IncoMolfetta’s office, in Molfetta.

Basically, my tasks are to support social media and communication’s office, organizing and assisting events, attract the community, and spread and share our work.

The life is quite different here, way more slow and chill, definitely ‘the dolce vita’. But everything is so nice. If the me of one month ago could believe what I’ve done so far since I’m here she would be proud: i went out from my comfort zone, getting more and more confident everyday in my work, in Italian, in this new life i’m leaving here.

One thing that I’m thankfull for is the people. I met quite a lot and it’s helping me everyday to feel at home here. Italians or different nationalities, i think it represents a big part of a foreign voluntering like mine.

It’s scary at first but worths so much, I’m so glad to live this experience.
