I decided to apply for a volunteering experience because after university I felt quite lost. Doing a Masters degree or starting a new job can be a difficult decision, moreover when you do not know what you are meant do. That is exactly how I felt before my experience. However, spending 9 months in another country, with the different challenges that this may involve can definitely be a life-changing opportunity for you to discover your own skills and vocation. Nothing is easy, since everything is new and diverse from what you know. This is exactly what will make you stronger, and with time, friends and a some diving into the Adriatic Sea, you will come back home more confident and grateful.
